1. About this messaging program
These SMS Terms & Conditions govern text messages sent by CLOUDIT Automation & Accounting Services LLC, a New York, USA company providing outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, tax, FP&A and staffing services to CPA firms and businesses. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages from CLOUDIT, you accept these terms. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. How you opt in
You can consent to receive text messages from CLOUDIT in either of two ways. You may submit the contact form at cloudit-us.com/contact, enter your mobile number, and tick the consent box, which is not pre-selected and must be ticked by you. Or, if you are an existing client, you may give verbal consent during your onboarding or discovery call with your account manager, which we record in your client record along with the date and the number you authorised.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from CLOUDIT. You may not enrol a number you are not authorised to use.
3. Types of messages we send
CLOUDIT sends conversational, service-related messages only. These include replies to questions you text us, requests for source documents needed to complete your bookkeeping or tax return, notifications that a monthly report or tax return is ready, and appointment scheduling, confirmations and reminders. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not send messages relating to loans, lending or any age-restricted product.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your account activity — typically around 5 messages per month. There is no fixed schedule; you will generally receive messages only when there is something specific relating to your account.
5. Cost
CLOUDIT does not charge for text messages. However, message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Please contact your carrier for details of your plan.
6. How to opt out (STOP)
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from CLOUDIT. We will send a single confirmation message and then send you no further texts. You may also opt out by emailing info@cloudit-us.com or calling +1-917-336-8923, and we will honour the request promptly. If you opt out and later change your mind, reply UNSTOP or contact us to re-enrol. Opting out of texts does not affect your service with CLOUDIT; we will simply reach you by email or phone instead.
7. How to get help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any message to receive our support contact details. You can also reach us by email at info@cloudit-us.com, by phone at +1-917-336-8923 (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET), or through the form at cloudit-us.com/contact.
8. Privacy
Your mobile number and the information you share with us are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data and text-messaging consent are never sold, rented or shared with any third party for marketing. Please do not send sensitive personal or financial information — such as bank account details, Social Security numbers or full account credentials — by text; use your secure client portal or contact your account manager instead.
9. Carriers and delivery
Delivery of text messages depends on your carrier and device and is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
10. Eligibility
Our services are intended for businesses, and this messaging program is available only to individuals aged 18 or over who are authorised users of the mobile number enrolled.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
